Rain Trees is a very small, friendly, caring, local kindergarten. The children are engaged and stimulated and produce a lot of very creative things as our walls and shelves can attest to. I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
From Day One, my daughter came home and recited stories and songs that she’d learned during the day. When I left her in the morning, she smiled and when I returned in the afternoon, I got a huge happy hug. Rain Trees is a happy secure environment and was a great introduction to ‘school’ for my daughter.
Mia has now been at Rain Trees for over two years and Sebastian is starting this term. Our experience has been wonderfully positive, and Mia is loving her time there. Katie Terry, the owner, is very much hands-on, and everyone looks after the kids with warmth and attention. Mia is in the Busy Bees class, the oldest age category in the school. When she joined this class at the aRainTrees_Warrenge of three, I was concerned about her being with children who were as old as five. Thankfully, she has thrived from being with slightly older classmates. Her teacher constantly creates fabulous backdrops within the classroom, based on the theme of the term, and leads the children in activities that are fun, engaging and educational. There is Mandarin exposure every day, too, from a warm and energetic teacher. Outdoor spaces include a little bike area, a garden with a pagoda, trampolines, sand play and much more. Mia says her favourite thing about school is painting, and she loves playing with the dinosaurs. This small school may not have the flashiest of facilities, but it makes up for that with the love and attention that your child will receive. Rain Trees carries out an annual survey with parents to get formal feedback on how the school is doing and to identify areas for improvements. We are delighted to be able to share the results of the 2014 Survey with both existing and prospective parents. 2014 Parents Survey Summary
Rain Trees is providing a great start to schooling for my daughter. Not only does she have new learning experiences and exposure to all sorts of exploratory play, she loves going each day.
I have the teachers and the lovely homely environment to thank for helping Chang to gain his confidence and happiness. He speaks significantly more now and clearer too. Thank you!!
My Twins love Rain Trees. They get excited when they know we are heading there and laugh and sing out “School”! in the back seat. Its an immense relief to know your children are genuinely loving their first experience with school. What better building block can there be for future learning?
Great school for parents who are looking for an intimate, personable, caring school. The teaching and support team are professional, loving, and fun people to work with, and we trust our son in their care. I can see the developments he has gone through and learnings that has taken place. Also really appreciate the space and respect they offer to each child for their individual learning process and development. Thank you so much for a great year and positive transition to school for our son.
Choosing the right nursery for your child especially when you live abroad is not easy. We feel extremely lucky to have found Rain Trees. This is a very caring environment with extremely competent, attentive, kind and dedicated teachers and staff. The nursery just feels like home.
At Rain Trees the teachers and staff are incredibly caring and provide a wonderful place for young children to feel comfortable, confident and excited to learn.
The perfect soft entry for toddlers into a drop-off learning environment as you can rest assured the Rain Trees team will do everything to make your child feel safe, loved and both mentally + emotionally understood. Isabella has had a blast and I’m so glad she I had found this hidden gem just down the road from us. Parent involvement is so welcome and the smiles and chatters during pick-ups and drop-offs is truly because Rain Trees has managed to build a strong community within the school with things like bake sales, fundraisers, parent volunteers etc who really do give great helping hands to the children.
Rico has been very happy at Rain Trees – he has always been looked after well and has had a secure, enriching and fun time.
Rain Trees is a fabulous school providing an energetic and caring environment for all the children involved. The teaching is of the highest standard and all children bounce into school with great enthusiasm and energy. My daughter has been so very happy in her first proper school environment and I would highly recommend Rain Trees to any parent looking for a small educational but fun school for their children.
I know he has a few months to go but nevertheless I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Rain Trees for making Sam’s time so enjoyable. As you both know moving half way round the world is no mean feat but one thing I didn’t have to worry about was Sam’s settling in at school – He loves it. I knew his time with you guys would be limited but we have made some great friends already and I am sure we will keep in touch with them during our time here. So here’s to a few more enjoyable months.
Rain Trees is a wonderful mix of big little school. The curriculum prepares the children very well for their transition to big school but the school still maintains a warm & cosy environment without overwhelming the children.
Liam has really settled in well to Rain Trees. Has not asked to go back to his old school. I was quite anxious about this transition as he has so many friends at his former school. We are continuing to see his friends regularly during the week and weekends. I have not seen Liam come out of his school at pickup with a smile beaming so brightly as I did last Thursday and Friday. I wish to extend a thank you to Rain Trees staff for making Liam’s introduction such a welcoming and positive one. Liam cried yesterday morning because he wasn’t going to school. This hasn’t happened before! Thank you ever so much! The communications and administration from Rain Trees has been flawless. This is so refreshing for me.
Amalie has had a wonderful time at Rain Trees and the friendly staff have made her and the whole family feel very welcome. She is so excited about coming each morning and has enjoyed all the activities and experiences provided for her. As a parent I really appreciate being able to communicate directly with her class teacher on a daily basis and sharing in her learning. Thank you to everyone there for making us feel part of the Rain Trees community. It will be hard to find somewhere in Australia that matches up!

Millie and Izzy will really miss Rain Trees and their friends there! I can honestly say it has been the best thing about our time in Singapore! We really appreciate all the kindness and friendship everyone has shown us. I don’t think we will ever forget it!
